Biographical Notes:

Alan DeSerio has specialized in the field of eminent domain law for over 30 years. Serving as appellate counsel for the Department of Transportation, and a large prominent firm representing condemnees exclusively, he has been involved in many of the landmark decisions defining the law of eminent domain. He has also authored articles and served as a speaker with regard to eminent domain topics. He has long served as the author and co-author of the chapter on "Appeals" in the Florida Eminent Domain Practice and Procedure manual. Mr. DeSerio was recently listed in Florida Trend's "Florida Legal Elite" list of mediators certified by the Florida Supreme Court.
