Biographical Notes:
 A successful litigator for 15 years, and a mediator since 2005, Devon Coughlan now practices exclusively in the field of alternative dispute resolution. Devon has mediated significant cases in the states of Florida, Connecticut, Massachusetts, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Illinois, Maine, Vermont and Washington, D.C. Devon has an excellent rapport with clients and parties and an attention to detail which makes him a credible and effective mediator. He also has an extensive knowledge of insurance coverage issues and insurance contracts which is invaluable in bringing many cases to settlement. Devon has been involved in mediating a wide range of disputes, including all types of commercial matters, labor and employment law cases, probate disputes, personal injury cases, medical malpractice cases, and securities matters, among others. Devon has particular expertise and experience in the area of construction, having mediated over 1 billion dollars worth of construction claims in the last year alone.

RATES & PAYMENT INFORMATION |
Rates: South Florida Rates Only, 3 parties or less: $300 per hour divided equally among the parties. For cases outside Martin, Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade Counties, $400 per hour, 8 hour minimum applies. No travel time or expenses are charged for any case. For rates outside of Florida, please call. For cases involving more than 3 parties, please call.

Payment: Each party's attorney, if any, shall be responsible for timely delivery of each party's fees. The full amount of fees are due at the close of the mediation conference unless other arrangements are made ahead of time.

Cancellation Policy: Florida Cases, 3 parties or less ONLY: $300 per party if cancelled less than three business days prior to scheduled mediation date. Fee is waived if mediation is re-scheduled for a date within 60 days of original mediation date. For cancellation policy outside Florida, or for cases involving more than 3 parties, please call.
