Biographical Notes:

Dirk’s concentration of practice is primarily City, County and Local Government Law. Dirk has jury trial experience in courts from Orlando to Key West in both Federal and State Courts. Recent jury trials include Civil Rights, Age Discrimination and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Dirk also has jury trial experience from the personal injury Plaintiff’s perspective making his jury trial experience in personal injury matters well rounded. Dirk is also a Supreme Court Certified Circuit and County Court Mediator.

He has also had extensive appellate experience in the Third, Fourth and Fifth State District Courts of Appeal. Dirk has appeared for oral argument in both final and interlocutory appeals in the Florida Third District Court of Appeal, as well as the Florida Supreme Court. He has also recently achieved certification in City, Council and Local Government Law.
