Biographical Notes:

Mr. Perzan’s background uniquely qualifies him as a Mediator. The practical experience acquired during the past thirty years has provided him the opportunity to participate in mediation from many differnt perspectives. Joseph Perzan has appeared at mediations since the early 1980s in various roles; as a Plaintiff’s attorney, as a Defense attorney, as an insurance company representative, as a corporate representative, and as a Mediator.

Prior to law school, Joe Perzan commenced his career in resolving diputes within the insurance industry, beginning as a Claims Adjuster, advancing to Claims Supervisor, Claims Manager, and finally, Vice President of Claims. His resume includes employment by Property and Casualty carriers, Reinsurers and Third Party Administrators.

His experience as an attorney has involved representation of both Plaintiffs and Defendants, involving motor vehicle accidents, bodily injury claims, property damage, homeowners claims, premises liability, workers compensation, pollution and toxic torts, false arrests. His experience has involved employment issues, non-compete agreements, collection matters, bankruptcy, business disputes, corporate matters, contracts, among others.

He is admitted to practice law in Florida, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and has been involved in the Mediation process in all of these jurisdictions. He is a certified Civil Circuit and County Court Mediator.
