Biographical Notes:
Kimberly Sands specializes in mediating both simple and complex contract and tort litigation. She is a graduate with honors from the University of Pennsylvania and Rutgers University School of Law. She practiced law for over 20 years as a principal with the law firm of Sands White & Sands P.A., practicing personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, and medical and other professional negligence. She is
now a full time mediator for Upchurch Watson White & Max.
As a mediator she is proactive, assisting
the parties in exploring the issues and factors that may affect the outcome of the litigation, as well as examining effective negotiation strategies. She has mediated cases throughout the state of Florida and is a frequent lecturer and consultant on issues relevant to complex litigation and mediation.
Kim is the recipient of the 1986 Florida Bar President's Pro Bono Service Award and has served as Guardian ad Litem in cases involving the rights of children in civil, criminal and family courts.
