Biographical Notes:
I have dedicated my practice to fulltime mediation since 1992, covering Circuit Court Civil matters of all types. Cases are referred to me by all State Circuit Judges and all Judges of the United States District Court for NorthEast Florida. I am also frequently selected by individual attorneys and insurance companies to help resolve their disputes.
To date, I have mediated in excess of 2000 civil mediations. RATES & PAYMENT INFORMATION |
Rates:
The Mediator shall be compensated at the rate of $250.00 per hour for cases involving one plaintiff and one defendant. If there is more than one plaintiff or defendant involved, the Mediator shall be compensated at the rate of $300.00 per hour.
Since the Mediator is responsible for scheduling the Mediation and preparing all of the necessary paperwork for submission to the Court for signature and distribution, the Mediator is entitled to charge a minimum of one hour for the time involved in performing this administrative function.
Payment:
All charges for Mediation are payable within 15 days of receipt of the statement from the Mediator.
All Mediation charges are to be divided equally among the parties, unless the Mediator is advised that the parties have agreed otherwise.
Cancellation Policy:
If at any time within five (5) business days of a scheduled Mediation, the Mediation Conference is cancelled for any reason, other than at the request of the Mediator, or if the case settles, the Mediator is entitled to charge the parties two (2) hours per half-day for the cancellation of the Mediation Conference.
