Biographical Notes:
 Mr. Mitchell brings 30 years of civil trial experience and over 15 years as a mediator (over 1,000 mediations) to his full time mediation practice. He providies mediation services throughout North Florida in all areas of state, federal and administrative civil litigation including negligence, workers' compensation, products liability, eminent domain, contracts, foreclosures, commercial and financial litigation, employment discrimination, medical and legal malpractice, land use and local government. He has received specialized training in the mediation of foreclosure cases and has conducted over 150 mediations in foreclosure cases from Miami to Pensacola.
Mr. Mitchell is also certified by Florida Supreme Court as a Family law mediator and is available to conduct mediations in all family law matters (excluding dependency) including divorce, marriage settlement agreements, parental responsibility (custody), parenting plans (visitation), child support, spousal immunity and alimony, equitable distribution, modifications, and pre-divorce and post-divorce settlement agreements without lawyers.
Pre-suit mediations and "settlement days" are available. He is also qualified pursuant to Rule 11.020, Florida Rules for Court-Appointed Arbitrators to serve as an arbitrator under Ch. 44, F.S.

RATES & PAYMENT INFORMATION |
Rates: Mediation and arbitration fees are $275 per hour for civil matters with a three hour minimum and $225 per hour for workers' compensation cases with a two hour minimum and $100 per hour per party for family law matters. There is a $35 per party administrative fee for preparation of documents. Residential foreclosure mediations are billed according to Court order or $250 for the first 1 hour and $175 per hour thereafter. Mediations are generally scheduled for a half or full day. There is no charge for travel outside Tallahassee for mediations with a three hour minimum. Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled mediation are subject to a $200 cancellation fee.
