Biographical Notes:

Steven has been a certified Circuit Civil mediator since 1991, and is also a certified Federal Court mediator, NASD mediator, as well as a certified arbitrator.

Steven's legal practice focuses primarily on general commercial litigation with an emphasis on creditor’s rights and remedies.

Steven has mediated in all areas of civil litigation. In addition to possessing a strong procedural background, Steven has also been described by parties as a "good listener." He strives to be as forthright and honest as possible in order to maintain the highest level of credibility with the parties, because credibility is crucial to being a more proactive mediator. During a mediation, Steven will use some novel impasse avoidance techniques. A substantial percentage of his mediations result in a settlement.

Education:

Steven attended college at New York University and graduated from the University of Miami Law School in 1975.
