Biographical

Gary Larsen is AV-rated by Martindale Hubbell, a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator, a certified Federal Court Mediator, Board Certified as a Civil Trial Lawyer by the Florida Bar, Past President of the Sarasota County Bar Association, and designated a Super Lawyer in the category of Alternative Dispute Resolution in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. Mr. Larsen's practice is limited to mediation. He is available to mediate in all areas of civil litigation, including medical or professional malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, probate, construction, commercial, real estate, and products liability, as well as insurance coverage disputes, including claims of bad faith insurer practices for both plaintiffs and defendants. Conference rooms available in Sarasota just off I-75. Beginning in 2021, Mr. Larsen will only travel outside the Sarasota/Bradenton area for full day settings. When the virus has eased adequately for everyone to feel comfortable with in person mediations, he will conduct half day mediations in Sarasota or Bradenton, and will travel to the Tampa Bay area or Fort Myers for full day settings. Mediations via Zoom will always be available.

Rates Information

2021 new rates:             

                        2 party case:  $350/hour per party

                        3 party case:  $250/hour per party                       

                        4 party case:  $200/hour per party

                        5 party case:  $175/hour per party

                        6 or more:      $150/hour per party.

The minimum billing for a half day mediation is three hours and the minimum billing for an all day setting is six hours. Although it is not our policy to routinely charge cancellation fees, should it be determined appropriate, the charge will be two hours at the two party rate for half day cases and five hours at the two party rate for all day cases.
