PROFESSIONAL INFORMATION

Biographical Notes:

This Florida-native ADR professional has presided in some 5000 matters around and for the state since being certified by the Florida Supreme Court in 1992. Having earned law and other graduate degrees from Yale University, Southwestern and South Texas College of Law, Williams began his career in Denver, serving as Corporate Counsel to an environmental concern before later returning to Florida as a prosecutor for the state. Additional years of private trial practice have yielded an experienced mediator, arbitrator and umpire who serves with strong results. Williams handles the full spectrum of ADR concerns whether two party negotiations of complex issues or large class action matters. Deeply involved in church and civil-state volunteerism, he serves in various senior roles in large charitable organizations. Williams also serves as the Primary Trainer for circuit civil mediation at the University of South Florida and was appointed by the Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court to the grievance board (MQB) for all mediators in Florida, having previously served on the (QCC) Qualifications Complaint Committee.

RATES & PAYMENT INFORMATION

Rates: $300.00 per hour-to be divided equally between the parties, half day minimum. No travel fee will be assessed if ADR session site is within two hours round-trip drive time of Brandon, FL (33511). Otherwise, a one-time travel fee of $150.00 may be assessed. Any document review or preparation (beyond 15 minutes), may be billable at the hourly rate.

Payment: Invoice provided to parties at conclusion of ADR session. Unless extended payment arrangements are approved prior to the ADR session, full payment of fees shall be due at the close of each ADR conference and each party's attorney, if any, shall be responsible for timely delivery of that party's fees.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation/Postponement fee will be waived if we are notified of any settlement at least 24 hours prior to any scheduled ADR session. Otherwise, a one time fee of $300.00 may be assessed.
