Biographical

Patrick Russell is a full-time Miami Florida mediator with Salmon & Dulberg Dispute Resolution, helping lawyers achieve a more effective and meaningful mediation that enables their clients to make informed decisions concerning the resolution of their case. Patrick’s mediation practice focuses on all Florida civil matters, including business and commercial disputes, condominiums and HOA matters, construction law, first party property claims, insurance coverage, landlord-tenant, personal injury, premises liability, and real estate. Patrick has mediated hundreds of cases online and in person throughout all of Florida.

Patrick’s previous legal experience extends over 30 years as a trial lawyer representing both Plaintiffs and Defendants. As a Florida Circuit Civil Certified Mediator since 2009, Patrick mediates all Florida civil cases, including Florida commercial law mediation, Florida construction law mediation, Florida insurance law mediation, Florida personal injury mediation, and Florida real estate law mediation.

In addition to mediation work, Patrick is the Past Chair (2021-2022) of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of The Florida Bar and currently serves on its Executive Council. Patrick routinely presents continuing legal education programs, authors articles, and appears as a podcast guest for topics on mediation, negotiation strategies, and technology.

Rates Information

Mediation Rates:

– 2 Party Case: $225 per party per hour
– 3 Party Case: $175 per party per hour
– 4 Party Case: $150 per party per hour

Minimum Fees:
– Half Day – 3 hours, or the amount of time reserved if more than 3 hours
– Full Day – 6 hours, or the amount of time reserved if more than 6 hours

The mediation fee is calculated based on your Mediator’s hourly billing rate as detailed above including any pre-mediation preparation time and post-mediation follow-up time spent on the matter.

Note: we do not charge any administrative, scheduling, or rescheduling fees. In exchange we ask that you please respect our time and the cancellation policy below.

MEDIATION CANCELLATION POLICY

If you need to cancel or reschedule, our office must be notified via email prior to the date and time indicated in your confirmation email for that particular mediation or arbitration in order to avoid the minimum fee.

Please note that for us to remain neutral, it is our policy to bill all parties equally for their portion of our minimum fees regardless of which party cancels a session or why it was canceled, even if it is being rescheduled, has settled, or one side is still willing to move forward.
