Biographical

Sheri Critelli was born and raised in Plainview, N.Y., and moved to South Florida in 1979. Sheri graduated Magna Cum Laude from college with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at age 20. She became a trial attorney at age 23 in 1989 and was one of the youngest junior partners at Adorno & Zeder, P.A., at age 32. Before joining Upchurch Watson White & Max as a full-time neutral Mediator (Federal and State) and Qualified Arbitrator, Sheri was the senior trial lawyer at her last law firm for 23 years.

For the past 34 years, Sheri has been a civil trial attorney representing individuals, corporations and insurance companies as plaintiffs and defendants . She specializes in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, negligent security, commercial litigation, legal and medical malpractice, institutional sexual assault and battery, substance abuse/mental health treatment facilities, 1st and 3rd party property damage, and insurance disputes.

During her career, Sheri litigated thousands of cases across the state of Florida. She also participated in approximately 100 jury trials and thousands of mediations, arbitrations, and depositions. Her B.A. degree in Psychology, life experiences, and extensive litigation background have given Sheri the unique ability to relate to, and empathize with, litigants. She also objectively understands each side of the case and brings her passion, impartiality, attention to detail, extensive knowledge of the law, and trial and negotiation skills to the mediation and arbitration tables.

Sheri wants to assist parties in settling their differences in a comfortable, professional, compassionate, and more personalized manner. Her dedication makes her available to serve as a mediator or arbitrator in person or by Zoom on weekdays, weeknights, or weekends.
