Biographical
Mr. Mayans has been mediating and arbitrating regularly since 1994. He has conducted in excess of 2,000 mediations and more than 100 arbitrations to final decision.
In addition, Mr. Mayans has served in volunteer leadership positions with community and governmental entities, including the American Red Cross (past chapter chair of one of the nation’s top 30 chapters); the largest festival/arts event in Florida (executive committee member and legal counsel); a county-wide chamber of commerce (past board member and ethics task force chair); a city planning board (chair); a city zoning board (past vice chair); a city library foudation (board member and legal counsel); six city committees (mayoral appointments); and a neighborhood association (president).

Rates Information
With few exceptions, Mr. Mayans' mediations are conducted at the "neutral location" of his offices in downtown West Palm Beach. The hourly rate is $375.00, divided between the parties, and there is no minimum time, administrative charge, or cancelation fee.
